Here's how:
1. Tell us about you.
Register for the Hawthorn Bank Referral Program by clicking the button above to complete a short form that allows us to send your incentive to your checking account.
2. Invite your friends.
Provide contact information and a valid email address for each friend or family member you are referring OR share this offer via social media. They will receive an email notification regarding the offer details. (This offer is not available to any friend who already has a Hawthorn Bank checking account.)
3. Be rewarded!
Once your friend opens their new Hawthorn Bank checking account and fulfills the qualification requirements within 90 days of account opening, you will each receive a $50 incentive! The more friends you refer, the more you can earn - up to $500* per year.

You and your friend will both receive a $50 incentive if your friend completes the following requirements within 90 days of account opening:
For a personal checking account:
- Receives two (2) or more direct deposits to their new Hawthorn Bank personal checking account totaling at least $500 AND
- Keeps the account open for at least 60 days
The referred friend will receive a $50 incentive. Plus, your friends can earn an ADDITIONAL $25 when they open another deposit product within 60 days of opening their checking account (must meet the above requirements to qualify).
For a business checking account:
- Completes two (2) or more ACH debits and/or ACH credits totaling at least $500
- Keeps the account open for at least 60 days
The referred friend will receive a $150 incentive.
Processing and delivery of the reward may take an additional 2-8 weeks after all conditions have been met.
